CHEESE PARATHA, CORIANDER PARATHA, CHEESE CORIANDER PARATHA, CORIANDER CHEESE PARATHA, PARATHA, PARANTHA

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 3/4 cups of whole wheat flour (atta)
  • Salt to taste
  • Milk as required
  • 1 inch ginger piece chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp of chat masala
  • Ghee/Oil for shallow frying
  • PREPARATION:
    1. Take a whole wheat flour and salt in a bowl. Add coriander leaves and knead into a soft dough with milk. Cover and rest the dough for 1/2 an hour.
    2. Divide the dough into eight equal portions and shape them in balls.
    3. Mix cheese with ginger, green chillies and chat masala and divide into eight equal portions.
    4. Roll out each ball into medium size chapathi. Spread the portion of the cheese mixture. Fold them up like an envelope and roll them out into square paraths.
    5. Heat a pan and place the paratha and shallow fry it. Apply a little bit of ghee/oil on it, fry both the sides till its Golden brown and crisp.
    6. Cut parathas into four equal pieces and serve them hot.
