
PALAK PANEER
INGREDIENTS:
Jeera
Garlic
Green chillies - chopped
Dhaniya powder
1 Big onion finely chopped
Curry leaves
1 tomato finely chopped
Palak leaves - boiled and smashed.
Paneer (Cottage Cheese) - cut into cubes.
Salt to taste
PREPARATION:
Heat oil in a pan. Add Jeera till it crackles out.
Add garlic, chooped green chillies, chopped onions and curry leaves.
Add 1 tsp of dhaniya powder and chopped tomatoes. Stir and cook well.
Add salt.
Add boiled green leaves (i.e) palak. and cook.
To make the curry more rich add butter or cream.
Fry the paneer cubes in ghee and add it to the curry.
A healthy rich curry is ready to serve.
Taste good with Rotis.
TIPS: Shallow the paneer cubes in ghee and put them in luke warm water. This will avoid the tough rubber elasticity of the paneer after its been fried.
