VEG-FRIED RICE

VEG-FRIED RICE

INGREDIENTS:

  • Basmati rice
  • Carrot
  • Beans
  • Cabbage
  • White Pepper
  • Ginger,Garlic
  • Spring onion
  • Chilli sauce
  • Salt
  • Butter
  • PREPARATION:

  • Pour oil add smashed garlic, spring onions, beans, carrot, salt, chilli sauce diluted with little water.
  • Stir well and add a pich of sugar.
  • Then add the cokked rice mix well then add finely chopped cabbage and a small table spoon of butter and white pepper and mix well.
  • Then add the spring onion leaves and mix well.
  • Serve hot.

    Love fried rice although in the past, I’ve made it with jasmine. However, my husband prefers Basmati (I always have a bag of both kinds of rice) and I agree it is much better for fried rice. I love the chili sauce in this - so different from the usual soy sauce!
